Hi, I’m Marisa, founder of The Christian Notebook.
I’ve been walking with the Lord for over a decade, and throughout that journey, I’ve developed a deep love for Jesus and His Word. My faith has shaped so much of who I am, but it has also shown me just how important it is that the Word of God doesn’t simply become something we read—it should become something we carry with us.
Over the years, one thing has become increasingly important to me: it is possible to read the Word of God without truly carrying it with us.
We can read a Scripture in the morning, close our Bibles, begin our day and, before we know it, struggle to remember what we read.
Yet Scripture encourages us not only to read God’s Word, but to meditate on it—to think about it, remember it and allow it to shape the way we live.
And that is the heart behind The Christian Notebook.
The Christian Notebook was created to help make meditating on and remembering Scripture a natural part of everyday life.
Throughout its pages, you’ll discover carefully selected Scriptures paired with illustrations inspired by the imagery within those verses.
Why?
Because sometimes, seeing a truth can help us remember it.
When you read about God’s Word being “a lamp to my feet and a light to my path,” we want you to be able to picture that lamp.
When Scripture speaks about something tasting “as sweet as honey,” the accompanying illustration helps bring those words to life in your mind.
The illustrations aren’t there to replace Scripture. They’re there to point you back to it—giving your mind a visual anchor that can help you reflect on the Word and recall it long after you’ve turned the page.
Although Scripture is at the heart of every notebook, The Christian Notebook is still your notebook.
Take it to Bible study. Write your prayers. Record sermon notes. Use it at work. Journal your thoughts. Plan. Study. Dream. Create.
There isn’t one “correct” way to use it.
The Christian Notebook was designed to fit naturally into your everyday life while continually drawing your attention back to the Word of God.

That is the kind of relationship with Scripture we want to encourage: one where the Word doesn’t remain on the page, but becomes something you carry with you.
We’re not here simply to create beautiful Christian stationery.
Our purpose is to create products that help make men and women more conscious of the Word of God—not only during Bible study or quiet time, but in the ordinary moments of everyday life.
We want Scripture to move beyond something we read into something we remember, meditate on and live by.
Because ultimately, this has never been about filling the pages of a notebook.
It’s about filling our hearts and minds with His Word.
